Our sippy cups come with a clever little valve at the top of the straw, specially designed to keep leaks in check — especially with cold or room-temperature water. If we made the valve strong enough to handle warm liquids, bub would need Hulk-level strength to sip from it (and nobody wants drinking to feel like a workout).

So we’ve struck a balance with a “just right” valve: strong enough to help prevent leaks with cold water, but still gentle enough for little ones to sip without struggle. Just a heads-up — with warmer liquids, a bit of pressure can build up, which can cause some liquid to come out.

Our valves are also easier to sip from than most, but not as effortless as a free-flowing straw. Every bub is different though, so what’s a breeze for one might take a little practice for another.

Don’t panic, we’ve got you. There are just four sneaky spots to check when your sippy’s sprung a leak: the O-ring, the straw valve, the air valve, and the straw upper skirt. These are the only places with a connection or hole, so if all’s good there, you’re golden! We’ve made a little video here to guide you through the troubleshooting process—because we’re helpful like that. You sure can! BUT just a heads-up: warm liquids like to build up a bit of pressure, which can sneak through the valve. The hotter the liquid, the stronger the pressure—so while it’s still fab for warm drinks, you might see a little more drip action. And don’t forget, 37°C and under is the baby safe temp'.

Formula in a straw cup? It's like dipping your toes into a pool of possibilities, but we gotta be real here – it's not exactly our top recommendation. See, formula can be a bit of a rebel. If it's not dissolved properly, it can cause trouble and clog up the straw faster than you can say "milkshake." So, while we're not here to rain on anyone's parade, we've gotta say it: using formula in the cup is entirely up to you. Little Stackers takes no responsibility for any formula-fueled adventures. Safety first, folks! And if you do take the plunge, just give it an extra scrub for good measure.

Our straw components are designed to stay together with a snug friction fit. If the parts are damp, slippery or have residue on them, this can reduce their grip and cause them to come apart.

First, make sure all straw components are clean and completely dry before reassembling. Avoid washing them with anything greasy or oily, as residue can affect the friction between the parts. If they have come into contact with something greasy, wash the components with diluted vinegar, rinse thoroughly with clean water and give them a really good dry before putting them back together.

If sterilising is required for your child, we recommend heat or steam sterilising Little Stackers straws where possible, rather than using liquid or chemical sterilising solutions. These solutions may leave moisture or residue on the components, which can affect the friction fit. If you do use a liquid or chemical sterilising solution, always follow the manufacturer's instructions. For guidance on sterilising feeding equipment for your child, follow current Australian recommendations or speak with your healthcare professional.

When reassembling, push each straw component firmly onto the connector or weight and make sure it's securely fitted before use.

Remember, a dry straw is a grippy straw!

Yes! You can sterilise your Little Stackers Sippy Cup.

Not sure if you're still in the sterilise-everything stage? Recommendations can vary depending on your child's age and individual circumstances, so check current Australian guidelines or speak with your healthcare professional for advice.

A few things to keep in mind:

Heat or Steam Sterilising: A great option for your Little Stackers components. Always follow the instructions for your steriliser and make sure all components are completely dry before reassembling or storing.

Liquid or Chemical Sterilising Solutions: The rest of your Little Stackers Sippy Cup is fine to sterilise using a liquid or chemical sterilising solution. However, these solutions may leave moisture or residue on the straw components, which can affect their grip and cause the straw parts to slip apart. For this reason, we recommend heat or steam sterilising for the straw where possible. If you do use a liquid or chemical sterilising solution on the straw, always follow the manufacturer's instructions and ensure the components are free from residue and completely dry before reassembling, where the sterilising product's instructions allow.

UV Steriliser: UV sterilising may cause some discolouration over time. It won't affect how the cup works, but it might lose a little of its Insta-worthy look.

Microwave Steriliser: The rest of your Little Stackers Sippy Cup is fine to use in a microwave steriliser, but do not put the weighted straw in the microwave. The weighted ball contains a small steel component, and steel + microwaves = not a good time! Remove the weighted straw first, then sterilise the remaining cup components according to your steriliser manufacturer's instructions.

Every steriliser is different, so always follow the manufacturer's instructions.

For reference, here's how much heat each part can handle:

• PP cup, lid, straw connector and handles: up to 100°C
• Silicone straw components: up to 180°C

And remember, make sure all components are completely dry before reassembling or storing.

Ah, the infamous teat collapse – it's like finding the perfect balance between snugness and airflow. When screwing on the nipple and ring cap, remember not to overtighten. Just tighten it enough so the bottle doesn't leak when tilted on its side. Overtightening can block the vents and cause the teat to collapse.
Before assembling, give the integrated vents a gentle pinch with your fingers to ensure they're open and ready to go. A little airflow goes a long way for a happy baby and a happy bottle!

It's like deciphering baby hieroglyphics! Look for the microscopic writing on the teat –it's there, we promise. Find the sneaky last letter and ta-da! S for slow, M for medium, and F for fast. Slow for the teeniest sippers (0-3 months), medium for the in-betweeners (3-6 months), and fast for the turbo-chuggers (6+months). But remember, every munchkin marches to their own beat, so our flow guide is more of a gentle suggestion than a rulebook.

Yes! You can absolutely sterilise your Little Stackers baby bottle. Just keep these tips in mind:
UV Sterilisers: These can cause some discolouration over time. It won’t affect how the bottle works, but it just won’t look as pretty.
Always check your steriliser’s instructions:Every steriliser is a little different, so be sure to follow the manufacturer’s guidelines. For reference, here’s how much heat each part can handle:
-PP cup, collar, dust lid & handles; up to 100°C
-Silicone teat; up to 100°C

Pop those handles on like a pro. Start from the bottom, slide them up, and twist in the anti-clockwise direction to hear that satisfying click. You're all set for easy peasy bottle feeding.
Remember, they fit both cup sizes and can be used on both the baby bottle and sippy cup attachment.
How Handy!

You betcha! Little Stackers products are dishwasher safe on the top rack.

Just be mindful of what else is sharing the dishwasher. Heavily soiled or greasy cookware can leave oily residue on your Little Stackers components, which may affect how well they fit and function. Strongly coloured foods and sauces (hello, last night’s bolognese!) may also cause staining or discolouration.

For best results, keep things relatively grease-free, use the top rack, and make sure all components are completely dry before reassembling or storing.

Our cup base is microwave-safe, making heating up liquids a breeze. For the baby bottle, the whole thing can go in if that pleases you. But hold on a sec – if you're using the sippy lid attachment with the weighted straw, keep the straw out of the microwave. Just nuke the liquid in the cup and pop the straw on when it comes out. Metal in the microwave spells trouble! Safety first, always! Just a heads-up: for warming liquids, follow our handy guide of approximately 20 seconds per 180mls in the microwave. Easy peasy!

Of course! We aim to please…

Clean before first use and after every use. Always, and we mean always, thoroughly clean your Little Stackers products before first use and after every use.

Pull it all apart. Little Stackers products are designed to be disassembled so you can properly clean all those easy-to-miss areas. Separate all straw components before cleaning and remove the O-ring from the lid using the handy little tab. Clean each component individually before putting everything back together.

Using a teat? Before first use, sterilise it in boiling water for five minutes.

Dishwasher or hand wash. Little Stackers products are dishwasher safe (top rack only), or can be hand washed in warm soapy water and rinsed thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scourers. They're no bueno.

Don't forget inside the straw. Thoroughly wash straws with warm soapy water after each use, using your straw cleaner to clean them inside and out.

Dry, dry, dry! All parts must be completely dry before reassembling or storing. Pay particular attention to straws, O-rings and other areas where moisture can become trapped. Never store your Little Stackers parts while they're still damp.

Sterilising? Follow current Australian infant-feeding guidelines and the advice of your healthcare professional. If you need to sterilise your Little Stackers straw, we recommend heat or steam sterilising where possible.

Using a liquid or chemical sterilising solution? Always follow the sterilising product manufacturer's instructions. We don't recommend liquid or chemical sterilising solutions for Little Stackers straws where heat or steam sterilising is an option. Moisture or residue left on the components may make the surfaces slippery and affect the snug friction fit between the silicone and plastic parts.

Straw parts slipping apart? Make sure they're clean and completely dry before pushing them back together, and see our sterilising advice above. Liquid or chemical sterilising solutions, as well as greasy or oily residue, may affect the friction fit between the straw components. If they've come into contact with anything greasy, wash the components with diluted vinegar, rinse thoroughly with clean water and give them a really good dry before reassembling. Remember, a dry straw is a grippy straw!

Check before each use. Inspect all parts regularly. If you notice cracking, splitting, tearing, deterioration or other damage, stop using the affected part and replace it.

Don't turn teats inside out for cleaning, please. This can damage the teat.

A note about discolouration. Avoid washing your Little Stackers products alongside strongly coloured or staining foods, such as tomato-based sauces or carrot. If you choose to use strongly coloured foods or drinks, such as juice or purées, in your Little Stackers cup, just remember they may cause staining or discolouration. This won't affect performance, but your cup might not look quite as pretty!

• We only accept returns for brand spankin’ new products: that means unused, undamaged, unsoiled and in the original pristine packaging. Looking to return something that doesn’t fit this mould? Our apologies, but we simply can’t accept it and will ship back anything of the sort to customers at their expense. 
• All items must be shipped back to us within 14 days of receipt. To where, exactly? “Returns at Little Stackers, 15-21 Bellevue Cres Preston 3072.” If you happen to change your mind and want to return a product(s) after this 2-week window closes, refunds are unfortunately not available (soz).
• Less than thrilled with your Little Stackers purchase? Shoot us a quick email so we can make it right! Include your name, product name, invoice number, reason for return and if you’re after a replacement, credit or refund.  Those seeking a refund will receive a credit via the same payment method used to purchase within 7 days after we receive the product (yay!).

• First up, this product is not a toy. So only let your little ones use it under adult supervision.
• Give our products a good once-over before using them, pulling the teat, spout and straw in all directions.
• Important! Don't use with hot or carbonated drinks. Or with juices containing pulp. And don't use the straw with formula-that's a no no. 
• Make sure to remove any and all packaging before giving our products to children.
• Please, please, please don't microwave the sippy cup and straw.
• Hang onto your instructions, which come in every pack, for future reference (just in case!).

• It's never a good idea to let kids walk or run with our products; a stationary kiddo is a safe kiddo.
• Never use feeding teats as a soother/dummy/pacifier.
• Always inspect the product before each use and consider it rubbish if you spot any signs of damage or weakness.
• Individual parts may pose a choking hazard for little mouths.
• Never attach the product to cords, ribbons, laces, or loose parts of clothing to avoid the risk of strangulation.
• It’s common practice, but we'll say it anyway and shout it from the rooftops—always check the temperature of the product and contents before feeding. Microwaves are often deceptive, so be careful to avoid burns.
• Always stir hot contents to ensure heat is distributed evenly and perform temperature testing before handing over our products to your child.
